Rice Residential Courses

Hosted both on the Rice University campus and in locations around the world, our Rice Residential program allows our students to connect in person with peers, faculty and mentors.

Rice Residential courses consist of a variety of simulations, seminars, group projects and guided leadership exercises that bring you face to face with peers, faculty and industry leaders.

Fees for Domestic Rice Residential courses are $850, including all meals and lodging.

Fees for International Rice Residential courses are $1,800, including some meals and lodging.

Fees are separate from tuition charges or transportation to and from the course location. The program fees are charged to the student in the semesters in which they are registered for a Residential course. These fees are set annually. Rice Residential courses typically occur at the end of the term, after classes are over.

Students are required to attend two (2) Rice Residential programs throughout their time in the program: students must attend one (1) on the Rice University campus and one (1) international location.

Students also have the option to take up to two additional Rice Residential courses in place of two 1.5-credit electives. You may not take the same course more than once.
